This Bang Bang Salmon Recipe is a Game Changer

f you are not a big fan of the way fish tastes, or if you are just looking for a new and exciting way to cook salmon, you absolutely need to try this recipe. These air fryer bang bang salmon bites are crispy, creamy, a little spicy, and so delicious that they can convert even the pickiest eaters.

This is one of those meals that looks and tastes like it came from a restaurant, but it is incredibly simple to make at home. It is a perfect, quick meal for a busy weeknight.

Ingredients

Amount For the Salmon & Sauce
3 to 4 Salmon Fillets
3 tbsp Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Sriracha
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
2 cloves Garlic (freshly minced)
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Salt
Sprinkle Garlic Powder (because I love garlic)
Optional Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep the Salmon: If your salmon has skin on it, you will need a really sharp knife to carefully slice it off. Once the skin is removed, chop the salmon into nice, thick one to two inch cubes. Place the cubes on a paper towel to dry them out a bit.

  2. Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the mayo, sriracha, sesame oil, minced garlic, black pepper, onion powder, salt, and that extra sprinkle of garlic powder. Mix it up real good until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

  3. Coat and Chill: Add the salmon cubes to the bowl with the sauce. Gently stir until every piece is nicely coated. Cover the bowl and toss it in the fridge for at least 15 to 20 minutes to let the flavors sink in.

  4. Preheat the Air Fryer: While the salmon is marinating, preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  5. Air Fry to Perfection: Place the coated salmon cubes evenly in your air fryer tray or basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Stick it in the air fryer for about 10 to 12 minutes.

  6. Serve and Enjoy: If you followed the directions correctly, you should have some beautifully crispy bang bang salmon. I like to sprinkle a little bit of sesame seeds on top and serve it with white rice and some steamed vegetables. And just like that, you are golden.

The Easiest, Tastiest Salmon Ever

This recipe is a staple in my house because it is so easy and the results are always incredible. The air fryer gets the salmon perfectly crispy on the outside while keeping it tender and juicy on the inside.
